My little guy has a favorite hand crocheted blanket. He rubs his nose with it every night until he falls asleep. We just recently got him a "baby" to help teach him a few things before the new baby gets here, and he's really taken to this doll so far. It's a boy doll, with zippers and buttons, and velcro to mess with. Today I caught Q giving him drinks of his sippy cup. Totally made me smile! How SWEET! I love this! My daughter (who will be 7 in May) still has "pink blankey" which she has carried around since babyhood. It doesn't go to Kindergarten with her, but it goes everywhere else! At least once a day she'll say, "Mommy, isn't pink blankey the best blankey EVER?" I know she won't keep it forever, but I kinda like that she still cuddles that thing. Makes these fly-by years seem a little slower... Thanks for this post...a welcome breath of fresh air on my busy morning! Ha! I love this!
