Neat website! I too am ‘African-American) Citizens of both countries, so can identify with you in many ways.
I too, love the comparison, no reality of the unity which the Bible calls “Christ and the Church, Marriage” So deep we really can’t fathom it!
One day we will, when we celebrate the BEST wedding ever, when Jesus comes again.
I love the picture of your brother and son, what a wonderful way to show the new identity of S.A.

LOVE this post! I especially enjoyed the comparison of faith and marriage both to a DIY project. That is so, so true… in both cases. And this line? “My skinny faith has put on a few pounds.” That’s gonna stick with me for awhile.

As for the word compelling… bwwaaahahaha! Well, I guess the *story* is compelling… God’s path for my life is compelling… but me? Not so much. And anyways, aren’t God’s stories for ALL of our lives compelling? I do thank you, though, my friend. You touched me.
