I know I'm probably too late, but maybe it can be a suggestion for next time. How 'bout growing up in Africa and about your family - since you fondly speak about a brother who fairly certainly does not share dna. I'm guessing there's a story and I'd like to hear.

how about finding and maintaining that closeness to Jesus that was so abundant after having my "mountain-top" experience. i struggle with this daily and as a wyld life leader trying to bring middle-schoolers to Christ, i know i need to do better.

thanks for what you do - you are an inspiration!

I was thinking (besides your usual FAB-U-LOUS posts) you could write about the biggest cultural differences between your homeland and your current home. For someone who has never lived outside my state, let alone this country, I would find it fascinating to hear about that! I have traveled to several other countries and love to observe the differences in cultures.

How about some insider tips for people who may be visiting one of the fun places you've lived ( or are living in now)?

Where would you send someone who was looking for quiet solitude who was visiting the Washington D.C. area? Is it the same place in all seasons?

Or, is there an off-the-beaten path restaurant, site, drive that is a "must do" to feel like your guest is a part of your town? Or something you feel like you really want to check out in your town or a place you are planning on visiting?

I love trying to figure these things out in my own home towns... they make for great stay-cations & fun adventures for visitors.

Seems like rich writing ground since you've traveled so much. You could put a twist on it by focusing on one aspect of life - spirituality, family fun, peaceful contemplations... plus, the adventure seekers in your reading club could do a little vicarious living through your words. :)
