Yes, but how many INCHES? We got somewhere between 32 and 35. (Yes, I’m totally competitive. Heh. Deal.)

Well, let’s see, I’m 5′8″ and the snow was up to my thigh – how many inches would that be – you do the math! ;)

Hi Lisa-Jo! I’m a Michigander (Almont – not too far from your old stomping ground) and my kids are completely jealous of the snow you’ve gotten. We’ve had the lightest snow I ever remember. Only one 5-incher and everything else has not been more than an inch at a time. We’ve had only one snow day so far! It’s criminal!

That’s crazy!!! And what’s more crazy is you all are getting more snow than we’ve seen all winter long (up north of Boston!)
Try and enjoy it a little bit :) It’s beautiful!

Oh wow! I am actually jealous! We live in upstate NY, and we have barely gotten any snow this year – so strange! What lovely photos and a lovely blog.

What a winter wonderland! I tell you what, the country has just been slammed with winter this year! Here in Oklahoma we’ve gotten more than we have had in YEARS. I’m ready for spring, though. Actually, spring means tornados. I’m ready for summer. Scorching heat. Yes. Fall? Um, no…it only lasts .2 seconds and then it’s winter again. OH WELL, guess I better just enjoy today. ;)
(I love the irony of the snow covered car with the windshield wipers sticking up…it’s the thought that counts, right!?! :P )

Um… laughing, but really, why are the windshield wipers like that? Is this some sort of east coast thing? lol I’ve never seen that in MN.

I love that you included the pic of your sidewalk snow tunnel. That’s what it felt like around here, as we’ve had LOTS this winter too (and gearing up for another foot by Tuesday). I was wondering if eventually we would be unable to see the street. Then one day last week, the county came and cleared the boulevards on Main St (also a co rd). It was a weird feeling. Eerie, actually. Glad it’s gone, but just in time for round …4? :D Good think I love snow.

The wipers – yes, it is totally a weird DC thing! I’ve never seen it anywhere else. I took the photo for a friend who always laughs about it.

That’s incredible. Says the girl who has lived in the south her whole life and has never seen more than 2 inches of snow at a time. Kinda makes me glad I live in the south! I get cold just looking at the pictures! They are beautiful, though.
